Mrs. A. Cole passed to her beyond last Friday morning, after an illness of only three days. Mrs. Cole lacked just eighteen days of being fifty years old, she was married to A. Cole in 1866, she was the mother of ten children, four of whom preceded her to the better land. The remaining six mourn the sudden summons of their loving mother.
Mrs. Cole was a kind and thoughtful neighbor, a sympathetic and warm hearted friend and many were the camp eyes that gazed upon her mortal remains as they rested upon the bosom of eternal sleep. She was a member of the M.E. church of Caineville, Mo. Mrs. Cole was the possessor of a rich and gracious spirit, she was ever conscious of her dependence upon Him whom she trusted as Savior, but her last moments were sweet and beautiful, she leaves for the mourning loved ones a rich trophy of a good life. The sorrowing ones, a loving husband and six devoted children have the sympathy of many friends in the keen loss they have sustained.
The interment took place at Blair Chapel cemetery, Rev. W. H. P. McDonald of this city, officiating.
