On Monday Harry Holbrook received a telegram from Wichita, Kansas, announcing that his brother, Frank, was not expected to live. He started at once, and later in the day another message arrived, stating that Frank was dead. The deceased was born and lived during his boyhood in this county.

Death of Frank Holbrook

Last Sunday evening Harry Holbrook received a telegram from Winfield, Kansas, stating that his brother Frank was very ill. He left Monday morning for that place, and while enroute another telegram was received here that his brother died Monday morning.

The deceased was born in Indiana, in 1852, and when quite young came to this city with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Holbrook. He leaves a wife and several children to survive him.
