BONNIE LOU LULL, Grimes

Bonnie Lou Lull passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Grimes followed by a luncheon. Burial will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday at Montpelier Cemetery near Patterson, Iowa.

Bonnie was born April 26, 1941, in Adair County, the daughter of Foster and Esther (Reeves) Davis. She graduated from Stuart High School. She married Loyde Lull, Jr. on December 4, 1965. Bonnie had worked in the Mercy Emergency Department for 17 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Grimes and was choir director for many years. Bonnie enjoyed reading and anything to do with music. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing jokes. Bonnie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Loyde; her daughter, Janet (Mike) Waters; son, Barry (Dawn) Lull; five grandchildren and three brothers, Bob (Phyllis) Davis of Dallas, TX, Ray Davis of Neptune, NJ and Gerald (Val) Davis of Council Bluffs, IA.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, this evening, at Westover Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the First Presbyterian Church in Grimes.
