GERRY DEAN BALLANTYNE, Earlham

Gerry Dean Ballantyne, age 60, of Earlham, died at his home early Sunday July 19, 2009. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday July 23, 2009, at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Blockton, IA, at 2 pm

Gerry is survived by his wife, Charlene of Earlham; children, Kim (Travis) Carrier of Harlan, Gerry "Rusty" (Kim) Ballantyne of Harlan, Richard "Ricky" (Maria) Ballantyne of Harlan, Caleb and Georgia Ballantyne of Earlham; his father, Gene Ballantyne Sr. of Des Moines; six brothers and sisters; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Whitney, Brett, Brenden, Allisa and Mathias.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m., Wednesday July 22, 2009, at the Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham where the family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
