JUSTIN LOVE, Lorimor (2009)

Justin David Love, 17, of Lorimor died July 1, 2009, at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

Services were held Monday, July 6, at East Union High School in Afton. Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery, also in Afton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family or Winterset Area Skate Park (WASP) in Justin’s name. Arrangements were handled by Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Justin Love was born Feb. 16, 1992, in Creston to Cheri Lynn (Day) and David Patrick Love. He lived in Afton until 2001 and then moved to Lorimor where he currently resided. He had previously attended Winterset High School from eighth grade through his sophomore year. During his junior year, he attended East Union High School. Justin worked for his father’s construction company. He also was a member of WASP.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Day; two grandfathers, David Beard and Riley Patrick Love; and his great-grandparents, Harlan and Zelma Brown.

He is survived by his father and wife, David and Tanaya Love of Lorimor; his mother, Cheri Day of Winterset; a sister, Marriah Love of Lorimor; two brothers, Tyler Love of Adel and Austen Casteel of Winterset; grandmothers, Cindy Love of Afton and Donna Adams and husband Calvin of Allendale, Mo.; and grandfather, Doyle Day and wife Lynn of Red Oak.
