RAMONA HUNT, Winterset

Services for Ramona Hunt, 43, will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been set up in Ramona's name at the Farmers and Merchants State Bank ~ 101 W. Jefferson PO Box 29 ~ Winterset, IA 50273. Online condolences may be made to www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com .

Ramona was born to Robert and Shirley Hunt on December 15, 1965 in Knoxville. She was raised in Milo and attended SEW Schools. She loved her children and grandchildren and was a great mother and grandmother.

Ramona was preceded in death by her father Robert Hunt.

She is survived by her children: Jessica (Howard) Williams of Des Moines, Danielle (Jamie) Conard of Winterset, Nicole Herold of Ft. Lauderdale, Justin Herold of Council Bluffs, and Devon Herold of Des Moines; her mother Shirley Hunt of Milo, her siblings: Carol (Joel) Laird, Marquetta (Mark) McGee, and James (Robert) Hunt of Wilton Manors, FL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, who she loved more than anything in the world.

RAMONA HUNT, Winterset

Services for Ramona Hunt were held Thursday, July 2, 2009, at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Milo. Burial also was in Milo at the Belmont Cemetery. Ramona was fatally stabbed June 26 at her Winterset apartment.

Ramona was born to Robert and Shirley Hunt on Dec. 15, 1965, in Knoxville. She was raised in Milo and attended Southeast Warren schools. She loved her children and grandchildren and was a great mother and grandmother.

Ramona was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hunt.

She is survived by her children: Danielle (Jamie) Conard of Winterset, Jessica (Howard) Williams of Des Moines, Nicole Herold of Ft. Lauderdale, Justin Herold of Council Bluffs, and Devon Herold of Des Moines; her mother, Shirley Hunt of Milo; and her siblings: Carol (Joel) Laird, Marquetta (Mark) McGee, and James (Robert) Hunt of Wilton Manors, Fla. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, who she loved more than anything in the world.

She was one fantastic woman and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
