MRS. JESSE BANE SUCCUMBS AT ADEL

Former Resident of This county Passes at Age of 50 Years

Mrs. Jesse Bane, former resident of the Fairview neighborhood in Madison county, died at her home near Adel last Friday. She was 50 years of age.

Mrs. Bane was the former, Florence Orda Utterback, daughter of Oscar and Lona Utterback, and was born near Champion, Neb. on Nov. 16, 1890. In 1900 she came to Iowa with her parents.

She was married to Jesse L. Bane on Feb. 15, 1910. They were the parents of two sons, both of whom survive their mother.

Mrs. Bane had become a member of the Fairview Methodist church at an early age.

She is survived by her husband; the two sons, Neal Bane of Lorimor and Ormal Bane of Winterset; her mother, Mrs. O. Utterback of Earlham; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Bush of Los Angeles, Mrs. Irwin England of St. Charles and Mrs. Royal Compton and Mrs. John Golighty of Earlham.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Adel, Monday in charge of the Rev. E. I. Seldon and burial was made in the Adel cemetery.
