CLIFFORD MISHLER IS HEART VICTIM

51-Year-Old Man Was Fatally Stricken Here Last Friday

Clifford Mishler, a resident of near Winterset during the last five years died suddenly here last Friday, Feb. 18, when stricken by a heart attack. He was 51 years of age.

Mr. Mishler was born Jan. 13, 1898 at Tulsa, Okla., the son of Henry and Lucy Mishler. Much of his life was spent in Dallas county, Iowa, until he came to Winterset five years ago.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ellen Marie Waters, to whom he was married June 25, 1941, and their seven small children. They are Johnny, Myrna, Gary, Henry, Jackie, Ronnie and Sandra. He also leaves 11 children by a former marriage, Richard, Marvel, Bernadine, Clifford Jr., Ruby, Alberta, Delores, Billie, Bobby, Jerry and Shirley. One infant son, Roger preceded him in death. He leaves three brothers, Fred Mishler of Florida, Lonnie Mishler of Kansas, and Robert Mishler of Dallas Center.

Brief rites were held here Monday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Loy Olmstead of Des Moines. The body was then taken to Adel where formal services were held from the Fischer Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Percy Islaub. Burial was made in the Panther Creek cemetery west of Adel.
