MARGARET BARNETT, Macksburg

The funeral of Mrs. James Barnett, who died April 29, 1909, was held at the ME Church Saturday at Macksburg.

Mrs. Dr. Culverson returned home Monday from Macksburg, where she was called on account of serious illness of her mother, Mrs. Jas. Barnett. April 29th at 10:15 the death angel came and bore away the spirit and the family which consisted of the husband, two daughters and one sone, besides a host of other relatives and friends was left to morn the loss of their dear one.

She was married to James Barnett May 12, 1859, and had she lived until May 12, 1090, should have been married fifty years.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Methodist church of which she was a member and the remains laid to rest in the Macksburg cemetery.
