Lila Ann Schnoor, 61, was born November 24, 1947 in Des Moines, the daughter of Jack and Adele Aldrich. She passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Madison County Hospital following surgery. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sayer Cemetery in rural St. Charles.
Lila is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Milo; daughter, Mindy (Randy) Thornburg and their children, Randy, Susan (husband, Brandon), Josephine and Lisa; step- daughter, Peaches Barker- Tuma and her children, Nicole, Tyrel and Kayzan; great-granddaughter, Jade; brothers, Jay (Renee) Aldrich and John (Cindy) Aldrich and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Phyllis Aldrich.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Lila.
