On Thursday evening at five o’clock Mrs. Will Cassiday passed away. She had been a sufferer from consumption for several months and her death was expected at any time. The funeral services were held at her late home at two o’clock Saturday. Dr. English preached the funeral sermon. Mrs. Cassiday had the sympathies of all through her long sickness and leaves many friends to mourn her loss.

Page 5, Column 5Died - Mrs. W. W. Cassiday died at her home, in this city, Thursday evening, March 8, at 6 o'clock, of consumption, after a lingering illness of over 6 months. Mrs. Cassiday was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A, Faurote. She was born January 31, 1871, being only 29 years old. She leaves a husband and three small children.
________________________Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery. Cemetery records indicate this is an unmarked grave.
