EARL PICKRON, Winterset

Earl Carl Pickron, 97, died March 19, 2009, at Country Haven Guest Home, Winterset.

Private graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Creston, at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Country Haven Guest Home, Winterset. Arrangements were handled by Pearson-Coen-Beaty Family Funeral Service of Creston. Online condolences may be left at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com .

Earl Pickron was born Feb. 22, 1912, in Davenport to Charles and Minnie (Bollman) Pickron. His marriage to Virginia Bubb took place Dec. 19, 1979. Earl lived in Creston for many years and in Winterset for over 20 years. He owned and operated Pickron Sign Painting.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

He is survived by one son, Gary Lee Pickron of Branson, Mo., and several stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Earl lived in Creston for many years and in Winterset for over 20 years. He owned and operated Pickron Sign Painting.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

He is survived by one son, Gary Lee Pickron of Branson, Mo., and several stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his loving caregivers, Nancy Baker and Keith Farlow, both of Winterset.
