Marilyn Louise Parker Sparks Reed Hutchinson, age 63, went home to her Savior on Monday evening, February 23, 2009, at her home. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Highland Memory Gardens, Des Moines.
Marilyn was born July 13, 1945, to Robert Parker and Evelyn Clark in Earlham, IA. Her hobbies were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to make crafts for ALL THE KIDS.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Donald (Jennie) Sparks of Liberty, MO; daughter, Cindy (Dan) Miller of Oelwein, IA; sister/daughter, Judy (Larry) Haley of Des Moines, and sister, Roberta (Danny) Sease of Des Moines; two brothers, Ronald Parker and Ricky (Diana) Parker, both of Indianola, IA; also 25 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Dorothy) Parker and Evelyn (Ed) Clark; sister, Linda Sue Parker; three husbands, Donald Sparks Sr., Ronald Reed Sr., and Bill Hutchinson Sr.; son, Ronald Reed Jr., and grandson, Quentin Reed.
