From East Peru

This community was pained to learn of the death of Mrs. H. Miller, who died on Sunday afternoon of the 4th, at the hospital in Mt. Pleasant, where she had been for treatment for cancer. Mr. Miller was with her, and, up to within a few hours of her death, had hopes of her recovery. She was brought home and laid to rest in the Ebenezer cemetery. Johnny Miller and wife, Jennie Porter and Frank Miller, all of Kansas, came in answer to a dispatch, but were too late for the funeral.
