We have to chronicle this week the death of little Mary Wood, a bright little girl of twelve years. She died at the home of her cousin, Lawrence Perdue, from intestinal inflammation. She had been making her home with Mrs. Hattie Harrel, of Winterset, and was spending a few days at the farm. The remains were taken to Hopeville, Clarke county, for interment.
