Miss Effie, daughter of John and Mrs. Simpson, three miles northwest of this city, died of consumption at the home of her parents at 3 o'clock a.m. Tuesday morning. Funeral at Blair church on Wednesday.

The deceased was a most estimable and promising young lady, whose early death is sincerely mourned by relatives and friends.
