Manson Coon, an old and respected citizen of Winterset, died last Monday night at the home of his son, George, in the southwest part of town. Mr. Coon was 84 years of age, and had lived in Winterset for more than 30 years. Of late years he has made his home with his sons, Emory and George. His death resulted from a complication of disorders which had rendered him a sufferer for a long time. The funeral was held at ten o’clock this forenoon, at the home.
