Thursday, June 15, 1905, page 1Jessie Jellison was born Oct. 9, 1875 and died June 10, 1905.
She united with the Christian church of this place Dec. 29, 1890, and was one of the charter members of the Christian Endeavor Society. She was faithful in all duties as a christian, and when unable to attend the church services any longer, she was still interested and always wanted to know of the church and Sunday school.
She was confined to her bed for nearly a year, during which time loving hands did all that could be done, but death claimed her.
She leaves one sister, her mother and several other relatives to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were held from the Christian church conducted by pastor E. E. Bennett after which the remains were laid to rest in the Worthington cemetery.
