GRANDMA SEAMS

Grandma Seams died about 6 o'clock Sunday evening July 21 after a lingering illness of several months duration. She was laid to rest in the quiet graveyard west of town Saturday. Her funeral was held at the Christian Church, conducted by Rev. Williams of Des Moines. She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons and two daughters, aside from a host of friends.

St. Charles and Vicinity

After a lingering illness of many months duration, Mrs. Jane Seams, in her 77th year, was released from pain and cares of this world on Thursday evening, July 21st, 1904 at her home in this city.

Grandma Seams had for many years been a consistent member of the Church of Christ and her funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Wilkinson.

The bereaved are three sons and two daughters, all of whom are married except Henry, who has remained at home and been a faithful caretaker of his aged mother during her declining years.

Burial services were held at the St. Charles cemetery at noon on Saturday. A large attendance indicated a reverence for her memory.
