MRS. ARTHUR JONES

Elizabeth Evans was born in Pittsburg, Pa., April 3, 1878. Died at Truro, Iowa, April 18, 1913, aged 35 years and 15 days.

When she was five years old, she moved with her parents to Dedham, Carroll county, Iowa. She was married at Dedham to Arthur Jones on June 15, 1898. To this union was born one child, Clarence Charles Jones.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, son, father and mother of Dedham, Iowa, and two sisters, Misses Jennie and Morgan Evans of Dedham, Mrs. Frank Wilson of Manning, Iowa, and Thomas Evans of Norfolk, Nebr. Her sister, Clara, wife of Dr. J. W. Carver of Peru, died Feb. 26, 1913.

It is indeed sad to again be called to mourn the loss of a departed sister. Her health had not been good the past two years but we did not think the time would come so soon. She was loved by all who knew her and was as sunshine in her home. She was converted at the age of fifteen and united with the Methodist church at Dedham. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge. Four years ago, she moved with her husband to Truro, where she resided until her death.
