Death of Mrs. Joel Childers

Mrs. Joel Childers, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Green, in Des Moines early Tuesday morning. The body was brought to Winterset for burial on Wednesday, funeral services being conducted by Rev. L. E. Follansbee of Des Moines, from the Tidrick Funeral Home.

The husband preceded her in death about seven years ago. The daughter, Mrs. Ralph Green, with whom she has made her home for the past four years and five sons survive, also one brother. John and two sons, Ersie of Mason City and Harry of Gilmore City were present at the funeral. The other sons are Everett of Arizona, Ernest of Kansas and Earl, who is in a government hospital in the east.
