Clark Crawford Sabin, son of Miles and Esther Jane Sabin was born at Eldora, Iowa on August 26, 1879 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Marcella Jones August 24, 1956 at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 28 days.

He grew to manhood in Hardin county, Iowa and received his education in the public schools in and around Eldora, Iowa.

In 1904 he was united in marriage to Edna Smith of Winterset, Iowa.

He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding on November 23, 1954.

They became the parents of eight children—all survivors except one son, Clark Jr. who passed away at the age of 12 years.

Mr. Sabin farmed in the Winterset area until 1920 when he moved his family to Armstrong, farming in and around this community until 1935. He then returned to the Madison county community where he farmed until 1951. At this time he returned to Armstrong where he resided until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife and seven children. Mrs. Frank Craig of Dolliver; Edvin of Armstrong; Mrs. Henry Mitthum of Knapp, Wisconsin; Mrs. Glenn Bicker of Edmonds, Washington; Mrs. Clifford Smith of Des Moines; Mrs. Wayne Jones of Bancroft; Mrs. Gerald Storrs of Des Moines.
