Earlham EchoLizzie J. McKibben, daughter of William and Nehusta McKibben was born September 1, 1863 and passed away February 17, 1959 at the age of 85 years, five months, and 17 days.
On February 11, 1892, she was united in marriage to Dayton Orahood at Winterset, Iowa.
They lived on a farm near Earlham and moved to a farm southeast of Redfield where they lived until the death of her husband in 1930. She was also preceded in death by a grandson.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Blairsburg, Iowa; Mrs. Lucille Smith of Des Moines, Iowa, and by a son, Charlie of Des Moines, Iowa and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
