Martha Jane Loch, daughter of J. W. and Mary Elizabeth Loch was born in Keokuk county, Iowa, October 12, 1864, passed away at her home near Adel, Iowa, June 12, 1936. She was married to W. E. Lynn October 12, 1882 and spent much of her life near Martinsburg, coming into the Earlham community in 1916.

Mrs. Lynn was a charter member of the Hedrick Presbyterian church. She was a faithful active worker, teaching in the Sunday school and sharing the responsibilities of all church work. To know her was to love her.

Funeral service was held at the funeral parlors at Adel, Iowa, on Monday, June 15, at 9 a.m. and burial was made at Nebraska City, Nebraska.
