JAMES MCNULTY, WINTERSET

James McNulty, 80, of Winterset and formerly of Des Moines, died Dec. 14, 2008, at Winterset Care Center North.

A private burial was held at Elm Grove Cemetery in Des Moines. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Winterset Care Center North Activity Fund. Arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.

Jim McNulty was born March 16, 1928, in Peoria, Ill., to Clarence and Anna (McBee) McNulty. His marriage to Eva Stewart took place in 1996 in Des Moines. Jim worked for Albertson’s Grocery Store for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the High Ho Band at the Willow Park Apartments.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

He is survived by many children and grandchildren.
