Wednesday, August 20, 1941Last week we noted the death of Will Corsbie at the county home, his death resulting from a stroke. He lived for many years in St Charles where he worked as a painter. He was buried in the King cemetery beside his wife who preceded him in death many years ago.

William L. Corsbie, son of Simon W. and Miriam Corsbie, was born April 5, 1870 in Adair county, Ia., and departed this life Aug. 10, 1941 near Winterset, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 5 days.
On Aug. 20, 1895 he was united in marriage to Cora M. Smith. She preceded him in death Jan, 17, 1897. At an early age he confessed his faith in Christ at the University Church of Christ in Des Moines.
He leaves to mourn his departure is nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Anderson funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Burial was made in the King cemetery near Elm Grove.
