Ruth Boyle Dies

Ruth M. Boyle, 70, died January 10 at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, January 12, at the McKee Funeral Home in Earlham. Burial will be in the Penn Center cemetery.

Obituary

Ruth Muriel Boyle, daughter of Cord and Cora Boyle, was born in Penn township, Madison county, Iowa on March 30, 1907 and passed away on January 10, 1978 at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines, after a lingering illness.

She lived her entire life in Penn township until she moved into an apartment in Earlham in 1975.

She was a member of Penn Center church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Clifton.

Ruth is survived by two sisters, Mabel Gilman of Earlham, and Mildred Willison of Norwalk, and three brothers—Raymond Boyle of Stuart and Lester Boyle and Dale Boyle of Earlham.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 12, at the McKee funeral home in Earlham with Rev. Farr officiating assisted by Rev. Higdon.

Burial was in the Penn Center cemetery.
