Obituary

Pearl G. Smith, daughter of Milton Smith and Elizabeth Tanner, was born September 8, 1888 in Madison county, Iowa, and passed away February 13 at the home of Elizabeth Maxwell in Earlham where she had been living since June of last year. She graduated from the Earlham Academy with the class of 1908.

On October 3, 1931 she was united in marriage to Ralph R. Price of Earlham.

She was a member of the Earlham Methodist church, 50 year member of the Marguerite Rebekah Lodge, WSCS and the Three Link Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband December 1935. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by seven brothers, William, Fred, Chester, Asa, Clarence, Raymond and Claude.

She is survived by one step-daughter Darlene Penn, two stepsons, Arley Price and Paul Price and a host of nieces and nephews.

Note: Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.
