Services Held for Frank Wrightsman

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 18, at Gill Memorial Home at Wilton Junction for Franklin Everett Wrightsman, 55, with burial at Oakdale cemetery in Wilton Junction.

Rev. G. W. Ukena was in charge of the services. Military rites were conducted by Wilton Junction American Legion Post No. 584.

Obituary

Franklin Everett Wrightsman was born at Earlham on February 28, 1916, the son of Everett and Grace Gordon Wrightsman.

On February 24, 1944 he was married to Betty Atkinson at Rock Island, Illinois, and they lived in Des Moines for a number of years.

He was a member of the Christian church.

He passed away on August 15, at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Survivors include his wife Betty, a son Everett of San Antonio, Texas, a brother Warren of Castleton, Indiana and a sister Mrs. George (Annabelle) Swantner of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Whitecotten of Jefferson and Mrs. Mabel Conrad and Mary Alice of Des Moines attended the funeral. Mr. Wrightsman was Mrs. Conrad’s nephew.
