On last Thursday night, Mrs. Lizzie Lewallen died at her home in the west part of the city, a victim of pneumonia which attacked her with unusual beverity about a week before.

Her bereaved husband, Charles D. Lewallen and four bright and interesting little children suffer the loss of a noble wife and mother, her aged parents, sister and brothers, a dearly beloved daughter and sister.

This highly respected lady with her husband and children came to reside in this city near two years ago and by her kind and pleasant manner and endearing social qualities quickly earned a host of friends, who join her relatives in sincere mourning for her early and untimely death. She was a lady of more than ordinary intelligence, a useful member of society and one whose good character and gentle disposition deeply impressed the hearts of all who chanced to know her.

Funeral at the M. E. church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Rariek, at noon on the fourth inst and on the south bound 2 p.m. train her remains accompanied by her friends, were taken for interment in Woodburn, Iowa, where reside the aged parents and relatives of herself and of her husband.
