Obituary

Lester G. Neff was born September 27, 1900 at Earlham to John and Mae Garmire Neff and died November 4, 1972 at his home in Flushing, Michigan. He grew to manhood in the Earlham community and attended the Earlham high school with the class which graduated in 1918.

Lester was united in marriage to Hilda Ramsey April 19, 1924. They moved to Michigan in 1928, living in Flushing for a number of years while he was employed in the Chevrolet factory in Flint. After retirement, he turned his hand to farming and continued in this occupation until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda; a sister, Mrs. Lois Berry of Sarasota, Florida; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Mrs. Delma Henkle, all of Earlham.

Funeral services were held at Flushing November 7 with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery at Fenton, Michigan.

Those attending the funeral from this area were Mrs. Lois Barr, Winterset; Wilbur Henkle, Hamburg; Mildred Metcalf, Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henkle and John Henkle, Earlham; also Mrs. Lois Berry, Sarasota, Florida.
