Services for Mrs. C. A. Crouse were held Monday, January 10, at the First Methodist church in Red Oak. Rev. Everett K. Burham was in charge.
Interment was at Mitchellville.
Mrs. Crouse passed away January 8 at the Red Oak hospital.
Rev. and Mrs. Crouse were residents of the Earlham community about 25 years ago. Rev. Crouse was a Vocational Agriculture teacher in the local school and served as pastor of the Methodist church during that time.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carl A. Crouse, 74, 311 Valley St., Red Oak, were held this morning at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Everett K. Burham officiating and burial in Mitchellville Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Nelson Chapel.
Mrs. Crouse died Saturday, Jan. 8, at Murphy Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Besse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pritchard, was born June 20, 1897, near Bondurant and was married in 1922 to the to the Rev. Carl A. Crouse who survives. She was a graduate of Capital City Commercial College, Des Moines, and had lived in Massena, Afton and Earlham before moving to Red Oak in 1957.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Verl P. of Nevada and Clark D. of Muscatine: daughter, Mrs. Edwin McComas, Rochester, N. Y.; seven grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Harold T. Guessford, Des Moines.
Mrs. Crouse was a member of Stratton United Methodist Church of the United Methodist Church Circuit, of which her husband is Pastor.
