Death of Nathaniel Burris

A telegram to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hawk announces the death of Nathaniel Burris.

Mr. Burris live for many years on what is still designated as the old Burris farm, eight miles west of Winterset on the Bluffs road. He moved from this county to Missouri and died at Pleasant Hill, Mo., Sunday, Nov. 28, being past 80 years of age.

Note: Four censuses and a son's gravestone indicate the last name is "Burrus".

Nat Burrus Dead

Nat Burrus, old time resident of Webster township who lived on the Bluff road near Maple Grove many years, died at home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, last Sunday. He moved there several years ago. Mr. Burrus had many warm friends in Madison county when he lived here and his old friends here will hear of his death with great sorrow. Mr. Burrus must have been seventy-five years old.
