Obituary

Marian Lucille Jacobson, oldest daughter of Archie and Pearle (Parkis) Kirlin, was born May 20, 1919 at Greenfield, Iowa. She passed away March 9, 1970 at the Iowa Methodist hospital in Des Moines.

Marian Jacobson graduated from Greenfield High School in 1936. She attended business school in Des Moines following graduation. She was a member of the Greenfield Presbyterian church.

In June 1959, she was united in Marriage to Charles Theodore Jacobson at Paris, Oklahoma. To this union one daughter was born. Mrs. Jacobson also has four children from two previous marriages.

Her mother preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband Charles of Earlham; her father Archie E. Kirlin of Greenfield; her sister, Mrs. Blanche Johnson of Port Townsend, Washington; her children: Archie Todd of Des Moines, Mrs. Nora Work of Des Moines, LeRoy Todd of Firebrick, Kentucky; Karen Larson and Sharon Jacobson of Earlham; two step sons, Charles and James Jacobson of Des Moines; five grandchildren, a niece and two nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Evans Funeral Home. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.
