Obituary

Mildred Elsie Hawkins, age 70, formerly of Earlham, died Sunday, July 13, at Glenwood.

A daughter of A. A. and Emma Kneen Hawkins, she was born at Delmar, Iowa on May 29, 1899.

Services were held Wednesday, July 16, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. John E. Fink officiating. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

She is survived by one brother, Alpha O. Hawkins of Fremont, Nebraska, and two sisters, Mrs. Olive Sheldon of Des Moines and Mrs. Mary May of San Jose, California.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters, Mercy Hawkins, Mrs. Ruth Imboden, Alma Hawkins, and one brother, Gilbert Hawkins.
