Obituary - Mrs. Asa Turner

Rosa Olive Goodrich was born in Madison county, Iowa. April 10, 1883, and departed this life Mar. 12, 1192 (1912), being at the time of her death, 28 years, 11months and 2 days old. She was united in marriage to Asa Turner June 17, 1904, to this marriage was born one son, Orville, who with the broken hearted husband is left to mourn the loss of an affectionate wife and mother.

Her entire life was spent in Iowa with the exception of a few months she and her husband lived in Nebraska. During her long illness she was patient and hopeful, and a short time before her death, she came to know God as her forgiving and loving Savior and many times told her friends she was ready and willing to go to him. She leaves to mourn her death besides her husband and little son, a father, mother and five brothers and one sister, besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Thursday at the home, conducted by Rev. D. A. White, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Field Cemetery.
