Wednesday, March 8, 1967MRS RONALD ALLEN OF CARLISLE DIES
Mrs. Ronald Allen of Carlisle died Saturday, Feb. 18, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 43 years of age.
Mrs. Allen was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Porter of Peru. Her early life was spent in that community.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ronald, who is serving in the U. S. army in Viet-Nam and Albert, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy Schooler of Carlisle and Carol at home, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Porter of Peru; a sister, Mrs. Lois Tuttle at St. Charles; and two brothers, Walter Porter Jr. of Norwalk and Harold Porter of Des Moines. She also leaves one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Feb. 21 with burial in the St. Charles Cemetery.
