The funeral of Mrs. Esther B. Currier, aged 75 years and 8 days, was held at Jefferson school house on Tuesday, July 21, at 3 p.m. The deceased was born in Hill, N.H. She became a Christian when a girl and joined the Methodist and afterwards the United Brethren church. Two sons and one daughter and many friends were at the services.

Died, on last Sunday, at Clarinda, Mrs. E. H. Currier, aged 75 years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Curtis, of Van Meter, at Jefferson school house, Tuesday. Two sons were present and many kindred and neighbors. She was laid by the side of her husband in Jefferson cemetery. She leaves six children and many friends to mourn her loss.
