Obituary
Chester Dewitt Reinmuth, son of Philip and Ella Reinmuth, was born March 13, 1889 at Hebron, Iowa, and passed away August 5, 1966 at the Garwood nursing home in Dexter, Iowa, at the age of 77 years.
He spent most of his boyhood days at Hebron. Later the family moved to Nebraska where he met his wife, Mable Martin. They were married September 23, 1912 at Sidney, Nebraska. Born to this union were four children—Eldy, Ivan, Phyllis and Mary Lea.
They spent most of their married life at Macksburg, Iowa. The youngest daughter, Mary Lea, died there in 1929.
In later years they moved to Dexter, then to Redfield where Mrs. Reinmuth passed away in 1957 and the oldest son Eldy died one year ago.
Surviving is one son, Ivan, of Omaha, Nebraska, and one daughter, Phyllis Love of Earlham, six grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, August 8, in the Evans Funeral Home in Earlham, Rev. Larry McGranahan was in charge of the service. Gertrude Conrad provided organ music. Interment was in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
