Marshalltown

Naomi Clark, 99 of Marshalltown, entered into eternal life Monday, September 1, 2008 at Villa Del Sol in Marshalltown, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2008 at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 4, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to honor Naomi may be directed to the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home.

Naomi was born on April 20, 1909 in Linden, Iowa, the daughter of John Charles and Lula (Carson) Howell. Naomi was raised and attended school in the Linden and Redfield area. On March 29, 1927, she was united in marriage to Paul E. Clark, together residing in Winterset, Iowa until 1953. After moving to Marshalltown, Naomi worked at Vinton Produce, Central Iowa Egg and retired from MMSC as a seamstress in 1972. Naomi enjoyed reading, crochet and watching the Cubs play baseball.

Naomi is survived by her daughters; Lovisa (Keith) Flynn from Marshalltown, IA, Gwen Clark from Des Moines, IA, sons; Paul (Pat) Clark, Jerry (Jean) Clark from Marshalltown, Iowa, sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, sons; Carroll and John Clark, sisters; Mabel Spillers and Irma Leeka, and her husband Paul in 1985
