Grand River Gleaner

The remains of Mr. Geo. Showers were laid to rest in the Kivitt cemetery last Saturday. Rev. Stitt, of Union county, preached the funeral sermon. Mr. Showers formerly lived a few miles northwest of Macksburg, but for several years has lived about eight miles southwest in the edge of Union county.
