J. D. Wildin, Winterset

J.D. Wildin, 37, of Winterset died Aug. 12, 2008, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 16, at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset. Burial was at Montpelier Cemetery in rural Patterson. Memorial contributions may be directed to J.D.’s family. Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.

J.D. Wildin was born May 19, 1971, in Des Moines to Vin and Kathy (Henson) Wildin and was a graduate of Winterset High School. His marriage to Lynn Utsler took place Aug. 24, 1996. J.D. worked as a foreman for Anchored Walls of Winterset. He also was a member of the Iron Dukes Car Club.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Miriam Wildin, and his maternal grandparents, Albert and Ruth Henson.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn, of Winterset; his son, Jayden, at home; his parents, Vin and Kathy Wildin of Winterset; and a brother, Alan Wildin of Winterset.
