Obituary.

Sarah Burleson was born in New York, and died at the advanced age of 89. She was the mother of 14 children seven of whom preceded her to the glory land. She died at Lorimor and was brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lease, in Winterset, where the funeral services were conducted by the writer, Monday, Aug. 9th. Sister Burleson, like God’s servant of old, “had the testimony that she pleased God.” She had been a worthy member of the Baptist church for over 40 years. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.” P.C.
