The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Sprague, of Valley Junction, was buried last week at the Catholic cemetery, in Lee township.

Richard Wallace, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Spragg, died at Valley Junction last Friday, aged eight months. Mr. and Mrs. Spragg have the sympathy of the entire community in their bitter affliction.

All stereotyped words of sympathy fail us when speaking of this little one’s death. This being their only child many, many hopes and joys died with him. To that heart broken mother we can only say that when life’s weary journey is over, she shall see, white against the evening star, the welcome beckoning of his hand.
