Died, Tuesday morning, April 20, Mrs. Leonard McKibben, of that dread disease, consumption. Mrs. McKibben was a true Christian woman, and bore her sufferings of several months duration with patience and cheerfulness. Thus another precious soul has been called from this mortal coil of sin and sorrow to that immortal place of peace and happiness. The funeral service took place from the Friends’ church Wednesday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Earlham cemetery.
