Death is again claiming its own in our vicinity. On last Wednesday an infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Lew Porter was buried in the Peru cemetery. Mrs. Porter soon followed the little babe, and on Sunday she was laid to rest to await the resurrection morn. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. Grantham.

Mrs. Porter was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hann. The husband and friends have the sympathy of their many friends.
