DEAN MCNELEY, Winterset,

Carl “Dean” McNeley, 78, of Winterset died July 23, 2008, at Winterset Care Center North.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 26, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset. Burial was at Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Union Township, Madison County. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Dean McNeley was born June 6, 1930, in Winterset to Roy Russell and Lottie (Hamblin) McNeley. During his working career, he was employed by AAA Garbage Disposal, Innovative Industries, and as a farmhand. Dean also was a state champion for handicap bowling and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Jungst of Winterset and Gladys Archer of Logan; and two brothers, Billy McNeley of Lorimor and Donald McNeley of Wichita, Kan.
