Olive Huddleson, 94, of Winterset died July 22, 2008, at Winterset Care Center North.
Memorial services were held today (Wednesday, July 30) at the Patterson United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Beverlee Bell officiating. Burial was at Massena Cemetery in Massena. Memorials given to the family will be directed to the Patterson United Methodist Church. Arrangements were handled by McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.Olive Huddleson was born July 31, 1913, in Warren County to Joseph and Minnie (Rhodes) Smith. She was married to David Faux from 1934 until his death in 1961. She later married Luther D. “Bill” Huddleson in 1970. Except for a few years living near Bridgewater, Olive spent most of her life in Madison County. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church, United Methodist Church Circle and Farm Bureau Women.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Faux and Bill Huddleson; five brothers — Frank Smith, Fred Smith, Bert Smith, Dale Smith and Lester Smith; and a sister, Hazel Nelson.
She is survived by one son, Floyd Faux of Prole; one daughter, Wanda Warnock of Arlington, Wash.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
