Mrs. S. A. Stark, mother of T. W. and Walter Stark, died very suddenly at her home last Thursday, in the northeast part of town. Her death was due to heart failure. She was found dead in the yard when she had undoubtedly gone to empty a pail of slop. The body had evidently been laying out some time as it was not found late Thursday afternoon.

Dies From Apoplexy

Mrs. Mary Stark was found dead last Thursday evening in the yard of her residence in the northeast pert of the city.

A neighbor saw her about seven o’clock Wednesday evening in the yard. Thursday evening after school a little girl going to the house found her lying on the ground, dead, near the place where the neighbor had seen her the evening before.

The verdict of the coroner was that she had died instantly from apoplexy.

The body was taken to the home of her son, Walter Stark, and funeral services were held from there Friday afternoon.
