Rockford, ILWanda Jane Parker, age 86, formerly from the Redfield/Dexter area, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Rockford IL, May 5, 2008.
She is survived by her son, David L. (Linda) Parker of Urbandale, IA. and daughter Fraya L. Parker, of Rockford, IL. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised on a farm near Earlham, the youngest child and only daughter of Nora and Fred Noland. With her brothers, Gail, Carroll and Wayne, she enjoyed a happy childhood, then married Richard (Dick) Parker, of Redfield. Together they had a successful TV and appliances business in Redfield. After retiring, they moved to Rockford IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, husband, and grandson Justin Richard Parker. Her ashes were laid to rest upon those of her husband, Richard L. Parker, at their home in Rockford.
No other ceremony is planned.
